Software Dev-Ops Lead

The Role:

  • Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Software Dev-Ops Lead will be an interface between ARTBnk’s U.S. product management, customer support and customer success teams and our overseas development organization.

  • You will deploy minor bug fixes and feature enhancements that have been approved by QA to our SaaS deployment in AWS.  

  • You will provide customer support with workarounds until bug fixes can be implemented by development.

  • You will help estimate the resource requirements of new and enhanced features vs. required bug fixes to assist product management in prioritizing development deliverables.

  • You will review product requirements documentation, ensuring that technical communication is clear and unambiguous.

  • You will provide input on architectural and algorithmic choices to align development with the company’s overall strategy of scaling our user base as quickly as possible.   

  • If needed, you will help implement employee productivity tools and troubleshoot U.S.-based IT issues.

 

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of dev-ops, SaaS, or software development management experience in a distributed development environment.

  • Experience with SaaS deployments in AWS, Java, Python, Apache, Hadoop, MySQL, GitHub, Django, and YouTrack.

  • Experience finding workarounds to quickly solve customer issues.

  • Be customer driven and strive to always deliver outstanding experiences for ARTBnk customers and employees.

  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to communicate in Russian a huge plus.
